The jars
Are the jars airtight?
Yes. Every jar seals with a silicone gasket in the lid, and the acacia screw-top canisters thread closed for a tighter seal again — those are the ones for spices, coffee and anything you want to keep aromatic.
What are the lids made of?
Natural bamboo or acacia wood, depending on the range.
What is borosilicate glass, and is it safe for food?
It's the glass used in medical and laboratory equipment, and it's the standard for food safety in glass. It doesn't leach chemicals into what it holds, it handles heat and sudden temperature changes without cracking, and it's more durable than ordinary glass.
Are they dishwasher safe?
The glass is. The wooden lids need washing by hand and drying — a dishwasher dries them out and splits them over time.
What size do I need?
Every product page lists the volume and dimensions, and our Jar Size Guide matches common pantry staples to jar sizes. If you're between two, size up — most people underestimate how much a bag of pasta actually is.

What currency are your prices in?
Canadian dollars.
How can I pay?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. PayPal orders with an unconfirmed address may be declined.
Can I order by phone?
We don't take payment over the phone, but if you'd rather not order online on your own, message us on chat and we'll walk you through it.
My payment failed — have I been charged?
No. A failed transaction doesn't charge your card.
Do I pay tax?
Yes, at the rate for the province your order ships to. It's shown in your total at checkout.
How do I get hold of you?
Use the chat button on the site — that's the fastest way to reach us and it's a real person, not a bot queue.
Shipping and returns
Where do you ship?
Across Canada. We don't ship outside Canada at the moment.
What does shipping cost?
Flat $12 on every order. Pickup from Barrie, Ontario is free.
How long does it take?
Orders placed before 11:00 am ship the same day, otherwise the next business day. You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as yours is on its way.
What's your return policy?
30 days, on unused items in their original packaging. We cover return shipping if something arrived damaged, defective or wrong — otherwise you do. Full details on our returns page.
